MTD Answers is an independent publishing project by Axion Labs, a family-run independent publishing studio (contact: hello@getaxionlabs.com). We publish plain-English answers about Making Tax Digital for Income Tax, each one traced to the GOV.UK or HMRC page it came from and stamped with the date we checked it.
Why the site exists
The rules are not secret — they are published in full on GOV.UK. They are also spread across a dozen guidance pages, a manual, a campaign site and several news releases, and the answer to a single practical question is often split across four of them. Our edit is one question, one page, sources at the bottom.

Check us
Every answer page lists its GOV.UK sources and the date we last checked them. Tax rules move; if a page looks out of date to you, it may be. Email hello@getaxionlabs.com and we will correct it.
